Re: UW IEC 2009 Spatial and Energy profiling off D-D Reactions in an IEC

<t>THis might be it, TA Thorson wrote a 1998 paper, I think its on his tests, though its not available to my computer I may have found it elsewhere.<br/> It might be all things equal that this recent test is the best in class effort. Slide 23 of the PPT shows clearly some reactions at the grid, but ...

Re: Do we realy need to go to the Moon for Helium-3?

<r>Dissident:<br/> <br/> <br/> Since the Moons regolith has lots of H3, reactors that use H3 make sense - on the Moon. It maybe that 30 yrs from now we use a number of different reactions for differing apps. It maybe that a PB-11 QED Polywell gets us off planet, but if the H3 fusion thing works on t...

Re: Video: IEC Fusion for dummies

Ions are orange. If I ever try this again, I would introduce one ion, and show its (radial?) back & forth travel across the potential well. Ahh gee, Looks like a I need to make one last edit to the video,

"label the orange dots as Ions....."

Re: Video: IEC Fusion for dummies

Thanks Mike,
The animation became a vehicle that increased my own very basic understanding. There are a few errors in that video, heres the corrected version:
