News about United Nuclear being raided.

<t>This month in Wired magazine there is an article about U.N being raided by SWAT (illegally) and their chemicals and supplies stolen! Why? The government "thought" U.N's owner was the next Osama; of course this was all under the Homeland Safety act. It seems to me that the government is no longer ...

Re: Acetone as a fuel additive?

Myth Busters recently did an experiment with acetone, and concluded that it in fact does not increase MPG it decreases it.
It is very ineffecant to add acetone to your gas.

Re: An energy producing Fusor

<t>I was thinking of a way to produce energy in one step from fusors, basic straight to energy approch. If a chamber was built around a fusor and filled with a medium to slow neutrons, and a second outer chamber built around the first and sealed; you could fill the 2nd chamber with He3 or BF3 and wh...

Re: Ethanol alternative

<r>Just for the record:<br/> Yes you can power any combustion engine that uses gas, with hydrogen. Electrolysers are basicly two pieces of metal running DC current through water, the electrolyte is a simple salt, lye is one of the best. The hydrogen is already seprated when the H2O is split, hydroge...

Re: Ethanol alternative

<r>I am sticking to H2 power, be it in a feul cell or burning in a motor, it'll be hydrogen for me. It's pure, simple, and easy to make. Just use solar panels for electolsis energy and the hydrogen acts like a battery to power a car. Besides ethanol needs to be produced in a complicated distillation...

Re: Making a Ceramic HV Bushing

Great. I was wondering what you will use to bond the ceramic to stainless steel. I have been looking for a cheap alterative for indium as a seal medium, but have come up with nothing so far.

Re: How to Debunk a Free Energy Device

<t>Last time I checked, energy cannot be created and 'Free' energy works on the basic idea that you can create energy. If they claim that the energy comes from the 'natural' energy floating in space, then it is not 'Free', it is basically the same thing as wind mills. And since energy does not just ...

Re: Inertial Electrostatic Fusion systems can now be built

<t>Damn!!!! I KNEW IT!!!! I just did a thread with my feelings that something big for fusion was around the corner! And I was looking to Farnsworth for the answers, maybe the wrong thing to look back at but, damn! This is great, IEC fusion is a possible power source. But this funding issue is a big ...
