Damaged Capacitance manometer

Every fusor and fusion system seems to need a vacuum. This area is for detailed discussion of vacuum systems, materials, gauging, etc. related to fusor or fusion research.

Damaged Capacitance manometer

Post by Roberto Ferrari »

Hi fellows

Any with experience with MKS 10 torr capacitance manometer, model 222AHS?
After years of nice work, suddendly it lost the proportional response. Jumps from 0 V (high vacuum) to 12 V dc (atmospheric pressure).
+/- 15 V dc ok.
I would be glad to recover it because importing one to Argentina would be expensive and very slow.
