Fixing a leaky SS-4H valve?

Every fusor and fusion system seems to need a vacuum. This area is for detailed discussion of vacuum systems, materials, gauging, etc. related to fusor or fusion research.

The valve I have is the one in the second photo.

It has a bellows, but no screws.

Glad it is sealing again with vacuum grease (better than throwing it out!) This tends to indicate the seat surface might have issues but if the grease works and you can tolerate its presence, why not, then?
