Every fusor and fusion system seems to need a vacuum. This area is for detailed discussion of vacuum systems, materials, gauging, etc. related to fusor or fusion research.

I think these are ASA flanges, especialy the large one. The large one looks like the 8" outer diameter 4 bolt type, the smaller one also looks like an ASA flange. These are common on diffusion pumps (especially varian), and should have an oring groove in one of the 2 flanges.
