I have a question to Jon and the old fusioneers.
By 2007 Frank Sanns sent a picture of Jon at his lab. In it, close to the instrumentation rack there is what seems a high voltage power supply.
As a matter of fact, in youtube there is a presentation at Jon's lab and that HVPS is feeding the fusor.
I would be glad to know as much as possible about that kind of device.
Thanks!

Re: Jon Rosenstiel's power supply
Kindly, Jon and Frank Sanns instructed me about that HVPS.
It is a combination of 100 kV, 100 mA Advance-Hivolt 8-stage multiplier with a home built driver.

Re: Jon Rosenstiel's power supply
I was going to roll my own C-W multiplier when someone from this group put his Advance-Hivolt 8-stage multiplier up for sale, so I went for it.
The more reactive the materials, the more spectacular the failures.
The testing isn't over until the prototype is destroyed.
