A fellow named Trevor Robson was an early attendee at the Vacuum Tube Workshop. He got pretty caught up in the hobby of building vacuum tubes and has been building his own tube lab at home. Along with this he has started a forum dedicated to gathering and sharing tips and techniques related to building high vacuum thermionic devices. Those here that are building ion sources and developing beam on target machines might be interested in visiting this nascent, but growing site.
