Where did you find the ceramic and metal tube? I'm looking for some of these for accelerator sections.

Look no further than dead microwave oven maggies.
I have cut a number of dead magnetrons up. One can usually get at least two superb ceramic to metal seals for each maggie cut up.
I have also obtained some similar items from old metal cased HeNe lasers. If you are a hamfester, keep an eye peeled for ceramic tubes of all sorts. You will be amazed at the savings realized by sawing up old tubes over purchasing new glass to metal or ceramic to metal seals.
