Fusor Calculations/Math

It may be difficult to separate "theory" from "application," but let''s see if this helps facilitate the discussion.

Fusor Calculations/Math

Post by Junaid Abdurahman »

I'm building a fusor i wanted to know how i could calculate what vacuum and power I'd need based on the size of my grids and chamber as well as how much deuterium I'd need to input. I've got a basic idea of the power and vacuum required to create ideal conditions but i just want to make sure with some calculations.
Thanks

The amount of deuterium is determined by the system pressure and speed of the vacuum system and flow rate determined by the gate valve setting. This is in the Fusor operation FAQ. Your asking about what vacuum shows you haven't even done a superficial read of even the basic FAQ's. Ditto on power; as for "Ideal conditions?" LOL - we all want to know that one! Again, read the FAQ on this subject.
