Hi everyone, long time no talk.
Here's another fusion device I found that sort of looks like something someone built on this forum, but on a much bigger scale.

Their soooo close, they can taste the money, if only they built it bigger they would hit unity ...

More dribs and drabs of fusion in the non-making. Someone is throwing away hundreds of millions of investors money if the funding tale is to be believed. More interesting is the word that we might, just might, pull out of ITER for 2016. The fusion plasmas are, as always, not heating up as fast as the fusion retoric.
We need energy systems that work now! Sytems that can make a significant percentage improvement in available energy.... Wind and solar are pretty much just crap as they are weather limited.
More fission plants now!

Progress may have been a good thing once, but it just went on too long. - Yogi Berra
Fusion is the energy of the future....and it always will be
The more complex the idea put forward by the poor amateur, the more likely it will never see embodiment

Wind does blow at night at least. But even though the wind technology has improved, making more sites commercially viable, wind and solar alone will never be able to replace all fossil fuel sources.
The more reactive the materials, the more spectacular the failures.
The testing isn't over until the prototype is destroyed.
