Nice little plugs! Well, they got two of 'em; only 998 to go. We gripe about Lesker's $1,000 for a giant simple 60kv+ vacuum rated insulator on CF flange at room temp! $1,000 may not buy the red hardline cable going in and out of those puppies that the guys are holding in the picture, much less the male/female pair of actual connectors! Let us say they get them in a lot of 1,000 for a fire sale price of $3,800 each that is only 3.8 million bucks and all they have are just those particular connectors. Wow! Acting like you are going to do fusion is always expensive.

That post made me giggle Richard, thanks! If all that money they throw away on ITER would go into furthering fission research, developing, building gen 4 fission reactors....One can only dream!
