While this is not my first plasma, it's the first time I also got the vacuum down into the range where fusion should happen.

Next step / before I proceed to the neutron club I need to get my russian SNM32/CHM32 neutron counter tube working.
I would gladly accept any help, especially with modifying an arduino geiger counter circuit - if this is possible.

That looks very nice. Have you considered trying a different grid geometry? Perhaps a spherical grid? You might see better plasma results with a different grid.

this improvised grid was just to test the viability of my setup

i have already ordered tungsten wire and plan to try different geometries, sizes and proportions.
