One very heavy power transformer

Post by Rich Feldman »

Yesterday, my wife and I were in Richmond, California for a kayaking outing. On the way home, we stopped by some railroad tracks and got an unexpected visual treat.

Sorry about the sloppy photograph. I think that transformer transporter has 40 train wheels!

As an avid model railroader, I can appreciate that picture. Nice layout pix.

Geez that's impressive. Funny though... the picture almost looks like someones model railroad with the perspective, color, texture, etc. The dirt between the rails looks like its from hobby store and the blurred background seems intentional. Of course not really, but quite funny when you trick yourself into seeing a model railroad setup. In fact on second glance I now can no longer see a real train car hahaha.

PS. I mentioned you in the "Please introduce yourself" sub forum.
