Got a cryocooler unit at an auction for $140.

Does anyone have a guess as to the manufacture?
It came with turbo pump controller but the only number on the controller is MR0808Y029, which I can't find any info on. It didn't come with the Turbo pump so I'm not sure which brand of pump it's suppose to control. It does still have a Varian ion pump attached.

It's a sumitomo cooler, you will need the compressor section to go with it. Probably something like this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Sumitomo-MRI-H ... SwB09YPygw

Though you could probably make a CTI compressor work too since I think they use the same fittings. You would have to figure out the wiring for the motor in the head.

Lots of nice parts though. Worth the money you paid for it even if you cant use the big stuff.
