alternative design concepts for table top hot fusion
The problem with grid heating in the current fusor tube design may be its fatal flaw that cannot be overcome. This file is intended to show alternative designs without the grid heating problem. All the designs use D to D headon collisions in the 25 keV range to achieve fusion. Coulomb dispersion is supposed to be handled by using magnetic lens focusing. More computational work is needed to see if any of these designs might have a chance to produce a significant amount of fusion power.
