Getting services done for cheap

Post by ian_krase » Wed Jul 12, 2017 6:15 am

We've heard plenty about getting goods for less. I'm curious if anybody has had any notable luck getting vacuum-related services cheaply -- the most salient things would seem to be vacuum-tight welding, possibly leak testing, gauge calibrating, and rebuilding/repair of equipment that isn't practical (or needs specialized equipment) to DIY.

(And also included in "services" would be people beyond trusted friends supervising you or letting you use their equipment).

Cheap(relatively) welding and leak checking of vacuum systems
