Hello everyone,

I have a spare 21b/mrem BD-PND bubble dosimeter that I'd be willing to sell. Purchased 1 month ago so it still has lots of life in it. PM me for price or shoot me an offer.

How much longer do you think it will last now?

As I recall, lifetime is guaranteed to be six months from the date of manufacture, but by paying careful attention to storage instructions, I've usually been able to get a year of of them, although the calibration may not be trustworthy after six months. Not a problem if all you want to prove is that you made fast neutrons.
The more reactive the materials, the more spectacular the failures.
The testing isn't over until the prototype is destroyed.
