Looking for Someone to Go In With on a Bubble Dosimeter

Post by Duncan Wilkie » Wed Jan 10, 2018 12:26 am

I've been in contact with the bubbletech company that makes these neutron dosimeters, but the minimum order is 2. Anyone else who needs one I would be open to purchasing one for you (with your financial contribution, obviously) and then shipping them to you. The quote I've been sent is $164 apiece with an extra $125 in shipping from Canada. This would bring the total to a little over $225 dollars from only one individual going in with me, the vagueness being due to the numbers I've received being approximate. If interested, please reply here so I can gauge how many people want one, and I can then pursue further contact with the manufacturer so we can work out specific terms. If you are new to the fusion quest, please note that these dosimeters have a shelf life of 6-12 months.

Some say the glass is half full. Others see it as half empty. I say it is twice as big as it needs to be.

I'd be interested in one. Now we just need a few more people to join.

I might be interested, however, that depends on when I could get one from you and how much extra shipping, costs, etc.
