Principles of Fusion Energy (hybrid fusor systems)

Post by Brian McDermott »

Published in 2000 by Harms, Miley, Kingdon, and Schoepf. Lots and lots of information on Muon, stellar, magnetic, and laser fusion. It briefly mentions IEC and how it is rarely considered for fusion energy research.

This book has a whole chapter on the theory and design of hybrid systems, but it deals more with fission of the heavy isotopes rather than the boron scheme recently proposed by Larry. There are many helpful diagrams, but some understanding of multivariable calculus (i.e. college-level) is required to understand the content of this book.
