Radioactivity: Fundamentals and Experiments

Post by Richard Hull »

The above book is written by Catholic Sisters Mary Hermais (Mennnemeyer) and Mary Joecile (Kscyscki), 1963, Holt Rinehart and Winston.

A really interesting text with some advanced experiments few can perform now due to lack of isotopes in chemical form avaialble to the public or even schools. You can make a cloud chamber, a GM counter, and perform a few experiments should you be more bold and entrepid.

Still, a superb little guidebook and piece of memorabilia of the atomic age that had a false dawning.
