This forum is about reference books for the most part. Scientific papers and helpful files belong in the files forum. Please reserve this forum for the posting and recommendation of books that you have found useful, interesting or as valuable references in relation to fusion, fission, radiation, radiation physics, health physics, notable biographies of physicsts, etc.

This forum should also welcome discussion on suggested reference book postings in the form of additional useful information via replies related to the original posting's book title, but especially comments and reviews by others who have sampled the reference. A particularly good example of reference forum usage is found in the complete thread....

This original posting is over 5 years old, but recent comments added to the overall value of the original posting with excellent review comments and suggestions for additional references.

All initial postings here should be from a person suggesting a book or reference who has read or sampled enough of the book to be excited enough about its content to recommend it to others here as being worthwhile.

Newbies should sample this listing only after hitting the important FAQs in each forum in which they have questions. Most simple and commonly asked questions related to any forum topics have already been asked and answered in the FAQs. If newbies then wish to dig much deeper into a specific subject, this is the place to locate first class references.
