Anyone who allready subscribed to these video teaching lessons at EPFL - EDX?
Content is quite demanding, but it gives a very good view about the details and requirements behind the fusion process.

Thanks to Philipp, I can point you to an excellent video about the basics of fusion, confinement theory, plasma physics and finally about the Wendelstein 7X experiment itself.
It can be used to get a short and very professional overview about the current status in fusion.
