A very great Americian researcher - Irving Langmuir - Nobel Prize for Chemistry 1932
who started with researchingTungsten filaments in lamps and discovered Atomic Hydrogen
Acknowledgement of Dr Whitney who provide the first " Free Research " opportunity to Langmuir.

An interesting article about an interesting man. He was also one of the few back then to work with a woman. The Blodget of "Langmuir Blodget monolayers" is Katherine.
