Having worked with Tesla coils over these many years, I have personally investigated these phenomena and especially the TRITCHEL PULSES which are most interesting indeed. (named after there discoverer - Phys Rev, 1920's-30's, search on Tritchel.) I have used these to excite resonators with interesting results. I think I published one such test group in Electric Spacecraft Journal a few years back.
Their are so many interesting phenomena in nature and so little time to investigate or dwell if one seeks a broad range of experiences.
