Congratulations, John. This looks like a Nanotechnology journal.

If this means an improvement of resolution for humidity measurements, then I'll be expecting to put an order in for such instruments soon for use in environmental testing! What happens in the 95%+ range? - always tricky to resolve at that level to get a high humidity/non-condensing test.

Congratulations John.

I take it you were responsible for the PIXE part of the work?

No John Kennedy did the pixie work
I built the arc discharge apparatus and had the idea to use a non polar surfactant to bind the ZnO nanorods and test them for UV and humidity sensitivity. I also did the SEM pics
This started as a student project to keep our French student interns occupied, after they left (6 months) validating and collating the results went to our new post doc on staff Vivian Fang.
