This Gem provides the rare privilege to access and explore this archive, free of charge - be part of the audience, as it were, to the original lectures, work and correspondents of some of the greats from Faraday to Boyle and read of the progress of Crookes but it has a time limit of 30/11/10.

Views normally cost $7.50 per article

Thank you so much for posting this. I was lucky enough to find this last year, but only caught the last few days worth. the amount of knowledge is amazing. and being able to read their words gives you an excellent idea of their thought process, instead of what is filtered through modern media. Some had amazing insights for their times.

Thanks John !! A fine contribution!

And, I heartily agree with the sentiments expressed. It always should be a preference to read for ourselves, the original works, along with the efforts of others to explain. Often the original papers are the clearest. J. Willard Gibbs, might be an exception, though.
