Thought this link would be nifty to those who submerge their transformers for HV Fusion.

Does a question come up as to whether this type of fluid remains compatible with more extreme voltage gradients?

U of Wis is using a BN feedthrough on their fusor - seems to be pretty good stuff at HV.
On the other hand this is nano, and intrinsically "pointy" so...yah, there's at least some question.
Heat was never really the problem here.
Why guess when you can know? Measure!
