Salam from Malaysia~

Post by Muhammad Faidzul »

Hello everyone.

My name is Muhammad Faidzul and I am 31 years old. I took mechatronics engineering during my studies.
Currently i am working at a biomedical engineering company that specializes in service
and repair of biomedical equipment's, mainly X-ray Machines. Lately we have disposed off
a high frequency machine and i managed to get my hands on a HV Tank.

I have got them working and have been playing with plasma since early this year.
Now I am thinking of making one of these fusors. I have bought a vacuum pump
from china, enough to produce plasma, but I don't think it is capable of producing
a star at the center. Will post some pics of my progress. It'll be great if you guys can help
and give some advice. Thanks

Regards,
Muhammad

Welcome and best of luck.

Get a good vacuum gauge that works in the micron range (that covers the 0 - 20/25 micron or its equivalent in Pa range in some detail). In this manner you can determine if your chamber is getting to the correct range for future fusion work.
