Re: Hello from Virgina!
Just remember, it's not a race! Too much time and effort lately has been put into the silly effort (IMO) to become the youngest to do X. Those who rush to meet some silly age deadline usually accomplish the following:
1. Produce sloppy work.
2. Cut corners on safety and get themselves hurt.
3. Miss important concepts robbing themselves of potential knowledge.
4. Miss important concepts and end up wasting other members time here on the forums answering dumb questions.
5. Usually fail and give up because they didn't take the time to do 1 - 4 properly
Take your time. Smell the roses.

Re: Hello from Virgina!
Excellent and explanitory response Andrew!
on your point 4.... The facts..... 99.998% of the very young looking to do fusion never, ever do it.
Why?....
#1. Money
#2. Attention span
#3. Lack of verve and failure to "pack th' gear" needed.
"pack th' gear" - definition - An internal spirit of a can do attitude coupled with the where with all and resolve to actually do it regardless of all personal obstacles and sufferings along the way. A willingness to claw one's way to a victory or goal.

Fusion is the energy of the future....and it always will be
The more complex the idea put forward by the poor amateur, the more likely it will never see embodiment

Re: Hello from Virgina!
Welcome aboard, Michael.
I hope none of the many Virginians here are wondering where Virgina is.
The Internet showed me one wrong answer from no less an institution than Zillow! In this case, evidence from Google suggests that Zillow is the one who has it wrong.
