I'm a high school student with a strong interest in nuclear physics. I've been lurking around the FAQ on here for a couple months. Based on others' experiences, I don't think it would be in my budget to even think about a neutron producing fusor. I haven't begun to seriously look at parts but I'd be extremely happy with constructing a demo fusor and joining the "plasma club."
Thanks,

Glad to have you here!
If you're smart about things like conductance, you can do a lot with a little demofusor-wise.
