hello all

Post by GeorgeMartin »

George Martin here, background is that of (primarly) an electronics and high vacuum technician with experience extending into the mid-late 50's. Literally grew up in university and industrial nuclear labs of the period. The experience base was primarly in the service and fabrication of proportional and scintillation counting systems, maintenance of mass spectrometers of the period. Very limited experience with small accelerators (N.C. and Texas Nuclear Neutron Generators). Operation, fabrication and assembly of low level beta counting systems a specialty. Have been retired for many years and have only recently become reinvolved in nuclear metrology.

Hello and with your experience, I believe you can help a lot of people who post questions here; hope you consider assembling/operate a fusor but that is hardly required in order to contribute to this forum.
