Out At Last...

I'm Richard Hester,and I've been working in my own desultory fashion towards fusion for the past couple of years. I first ran across mention of Farnsworth's efforts at Jochen's high voltage site, where I was grubbing around for high voltage stuff for a laser project (still in progress, too). From there, I stumbled across the new (at the time) fusor bulletin board.
I have a physics degree with a lot of dust on it, but for the past 24 years, I've been working as an electronics engineer. I started out as a digital designer (you eat what's in front of you), but managed to weasel my way into the analog realm, specifically switching power supplies, where I've been for 21 years. I also do a lot of analog hacking in my spare time.
