Hello from Richmond, VA!

Post by james4765 »

Finally joined the forum after going to meetings at Richard Hull's for a few years.

Been learning a lot, and am finally getting a big enough shop to be able to start working on things. My first goal is to put together a small particle accelerator - Lichtenberg figures fascinate me, and I want to make some.

Also want to get into scientific apparatus fabrication, I'm a fair-to-decent welder and getting high vacuum experience would let me go after making vacuum chambers for labs and industry...

Welcome James, I am glad to hear that you are starting to be able to have a workshop/lab of sorts. Working with the hands to make experiment is a good thing for any scientific minded person.
