Hello,
I'm just a kid from Birmingham, Alabama (not the UK, sadly) with an interest in building a fusion reactor. I came across this site after watching Jamie Edward's TED talk and figured I'd give fusion a try myself. Ultimately, I want to experiment a bit with the WB-6 reactor type torus design, but of course that's just a thought and the goal at the moment is to build a classic Farnsworth-Hirsch type fusor.
Best regards,
-Virginia

Re: Salutations from Birmingham
Welcome, Virginia. We could use more girls here.
Please don't be put off by people citing the username rule. Somebody has to do it, and Rex offers technical guidance.
In fact I do my share of citing rules to noobs. My first day at this forum, a long time ago, was as "klugesmith".
Your personal introduction, as a first post, puts you ahead of most of the pack. Hope you stay in touch.

What's unfortunate about not living in the UK? Taylor Wilson and I are both from the US. In fact, his old state, Arkansas, is minutes away from me.
