My name is Ryan Copeland and I have been interested in building a fusor since middle school. I am 17 and a junior in high school. Just recently I was able to obtain a 25KV power supply from United Nuclear to play around with. I know this cannot be used for an actual fusor, but I got some nice plasma and containment (or what looks like it) with this supply. I plan on building a fusor from a 2.75in 4-way cross CF part and a 400W +/-40KV power supply on ebay. I am open to any suggestions and will be looking for conformation of the viability of the parts (especially the power supply and vacuum system). I was also wondering if I should apply for the plasma club or if it requires a more sophisticated power supply. Thanks!
