Greetings from Rhode Island

Post by The Super Nerds Team »

Hello fellow fusioneers!

We (the Super Nerds Team) are a group of high school-age students from around the state of Rhode Island who work together to accomplish certain projects that we find interesting and challenging.

As of June 2018, we have set out to build a nuclear fusion reactor and hope that the fusor.net community will help us on our endeavor! In addition to the resources on this forum, we have been receiving help from the Rhode Island Nuclear Science Center at the University of Rhode Island. They have been generous enough to provide us with fast-neutron detectors, Geiger counters, and advice concerning radiation shielding.

As individuals joining this fine community, we hope to assist members of Fusor.net in anyway possible - especially those from good ol' li'l Rhody!

Best Wishes,

The Super Nerds Team

If you all do this then your group effort sign in might continue.
Ehen each of you do the introduction please make sure to link to this group

other than that welcome
ps read all the FAq's before asking the obvious question that has already been answered

Sure thing, Mr. Futter. We promise that this sort of thing will never happen again. If you are looking for an additional quick summation of names:

-Drake Vanness: Welding and civil engineering

-Chris Silveria: Vacuum and deuterium systems

-Zach Payne: Electrical systems and radiation shielding

We will be adding our names to the "Introduce Yourself" page ASAP.
