Hi all,
I was recently lucky enough to get my hands on a few turbo pumps and various other bits of interesting gear, which is all the excuse I needed to rekindle a long slumbering interest in all things high vacuum/high voltage. I am looking around for information, and hope to learn more about the practical aspects, before I get myself deeper into trouble :p
All manner of diy radiation detectors have been a constant interest of mine over the years, perhaps I can be of use to someone here with my experience in that department.
First stop for me is trying to get these turbos running.
