Hi everyone!
My name is Dean, and I work in chemistry, and I'm especially interested in mass spectrometry. Don't get me wrong, I think fusion is really, really neat! But my main motive in joining fusor.net is to learn about and discuss with others high vacuum technology. Mass spectrometry is my hobby: I have two mass specs in my garage right now, and the biggest pain in dealing with them is vacuum system engineering. Since vacuum systems for fusors are possibly even more difficult, I am hoping that I can learn from you guys and maybe even pick your brains about some vacuum engineering things.

Fusion is the energy of the future....and it always will be
The more complex the idea put forward by the poor amateur, the more likely it will never see embodiment
