In addition to the Farnsworth piece, I have also uploaded an excerpt from Robin Herman's book "Fusion - The Search for Endless Energy." This section discusses some of the potential downsides to fusion, and provides and interesting counterpoint to the grand vision that Farnsworth (and others) expound for the future of fusion. Granted, most of the criticism is directed toward magnetic confinement devices (i.e. the tokamak) but the observations regarding radioactivity and other bi-products of fusion cannot be ignored.

Re: Counterpoint to Utopia
Shouldn't that be "Fusion - The Endless Search For Endless Energy"?
