Hello all,
First I just have to say that I'd really rather be at the HEAS 11 this year watching Richard turn a million neutrons! Hats off to a great gathering, and one day I hope my schedule will sync with theirs so I can go.
Next I would like to tip my hat to my loyal group of teenagers who are continuing to make the front pages here in the North West. Their latest coverage by a local TV station can be found here.

We have made some other really great progress in building relationships with the State of Washington, Department of Health, Office of Radiation Protection. We have a tentative commitment from one of their Senior Radiation Health Physicist's to join us for an evening here at our new labs in Federal Way, Washington, and make a presentation on the effects of radiation. I have asked him if I might be able to tape the presentation for distribution through FUSOR.NET
You have to admit that it would be a very good thing to establish a healthy relationship with the local authorities, and actually look forward to their assistance from time to time rather than the bleak picture that sometime gets painted concerning such encounters on this board. Well, I think we are well on the way. Our secret is simple. Just be upfront, and transparent. Demonstrate real and tangible concern for the safety issues, and you find that they are more than willing to work with you.
Hope to be able to post one of their presentations soon.

Nice one Carl,
Although there seemed to be a serious amount of Cerenkov radiation in that video
