This fits the thread's Subject, even though we are straying away from hydride storage.
What is wrong with this picture?

By coincidence I just spotted, online, something I knew from left-behinds after somebody's party in a public park. Some party-size tanks of balloon gas contain up to 20% air. The attached ad image says or implies mixture in about five places.

FWIW I've been looking more in-depth at the feasibility of storing electrolyzed deuterium as hydride. I will begin experimenting soon as I now have a setup for D2O electrolysis, compression and storage (unfortunately I'm very busy at work until next week and haven't been able to test it properly so far)

One problem is that the hydrosticks (actually I'll be using Brunton Hydrocores) come preloaded with regular hydrogen, and need to be purged of it then flushed with a certain amount of deuterium which is wasted - but then I think they should be good to be reused for deuterium storage repeatedly.
There _is_ madness to my method.

Rich, I'll bite on your "what's wrong" question.
I don't see anything wrong. What concerns you?
