Scott Westveer Introduction
Hello to all. I am a 50+ year old happily married father of four great kids who has been interested in fusion for a number of years now. As a degreed and licensed professional Chemical Engineer working in the Energy and Chemicals industries, the topic of long term energy supply has been one about which I have thought for almost two decades. Obviously, the as yet to be realized potential of the harnessing of energy from terrestrial nuclear fusion reactions - and how to realize that potential, is also on my mind. Hence my interest in this site. I look forward to learning more about your activities and progress in the coming months and years.

Progress may have been a good thing once, but it just went on too long. - Yogi Berra
Fusion is the energy of the future....and it always will be
The more complex the idea put forward by the poor amateur, the more likely it will never see embodiment
