it is possible to form cooling channels in the strip sphere. but it would be a royal pain.
i routinely make very complicated liquid cooling and gas manifolding in laminated blocks of wafers. doing that in a 3d non stacked shape would make for a new challenge in modeling and assembling. i believe my current welders (micro spot and fusion) would not be suitable and i would need a micro plasma torch (on my list eventually but a bit pricey).
