What proportion of normal hydrogen is Deuterium?? if a fusor was run off bottle hydrogen would any neutron count be detected?. If there's enough in bottled hydrogen it may be possible to run a device off it while doing dummy runs and proving design work without wasting expensive Deuterium. Has anyone tried this yet?
