I would like to ask for help in the form of operating parameters for neutron production to the visitors of this site who have actually produced neutron.
At what cut off voltage below which do you stop detecting neutrons with your particluar machine. How does this compare to theory?
Also what currents do you register with your machine and again what are the minimum values below which you don't register any more neutrons.
I understand measuring neutron counts is something of an art and not very percise, but even a ball park operating range would give me a starting point.
I have successfully powered up a micro fusor but did run into problems with heat generation and quickly burned out the inner grid. The overall dia of my machine was 10 mm with an inner grid dia of 1 mm.
