My SS fusor body has hit 125 deg C during a long run one time. (physically measured with K therocouple) No metals within the chamber or near the walls of a simple fusor will melt or even soften. I have used indium to seal my reactor on fusor III. It has never melted and it has a very low melting point. (~160 deg C)
