Probably your best bet is the applications notes for the driver chips. I was given a book called "Switch mode Power Supply Design" by P.R.K. Chetty that isn't bad (but it isn't great either). I assume what you are looking for is a form of cookbook?
I do know that there are probably dozens of books on this, so your best bet is a trip to a technical book store.
