I am just getting started on a "high vacuum" Chamber and I need to know what is the best vacuum gauge for the 25 micron range of vacuum, and where can I buy one. Also I may be able to get a used oil seal vacuum pump (belt driven) for around $80.00, or I can get a new direct drive refrigeration evacuation pump,3.0 CFS, (good for at least 25 microns) for around $400.00. Does anyone have any experience with reliability, niose levels, vacuum levels attainable etc.with these pumps?
