Just a thought; was 100vac ever a standard for wherever these transformers are coming from? Reason I ask is that a friend had one that sounds like this; it was used by the power company repair-people to provide power for their 110 volt tools when they were working on distribution lines. The "giveaway" was that it had standard outlets on the side. It made a great Tesla coil driver, and we limited the primary current with a series-bank of high-wattage lightbulbs.
