It is good to see the job done well and in stages. We learn best when we learn by the doing and in a slow and orderly, natural, progression. What you learn here, Tom, will stay with you in a special way.
I'm glad you found the resistors you needed. There is nothing wrong with e-bay beyond it being a sellers market most of the time. Even high prices at E-bay or Hamfests will certainly beat any new manufacturers list prices.
